Back again

Blog laziness has prevailed in the last few days, and perhaps also the fact that panto season is upon us, which doesn't bring the most interesting of pictures so apologies are due.

Some of you might remember this little walk along the East London canals which was done back in May. A while back I had a few days off so I had the time to follow it up with another extended walk, but in a slightly different take. See it here. Another night out, I cant wait for tomorrow to end as I will have an extended weekend on my hands, so that I can sleep properly.

But tonight was good, I was out with three talented (Italian-mob-connected) individuals whom I happened to go to university with, so you better click on their pages, or you'll be sleeping with the fishes!

Sara managed to creep away after 10 minutes, so she's not captured, but Alex told us about life in India and at WpN, and Dani kept it real by chasing a firetruck in the middle of our beer drinking session at The Foundry.

The Foundry happens to be one of the first bars I went to some 11 years ago when I first arrived in London, and I still come back for more. Nuff said.

Come for a walk

I've become slightly addicted to Soundslides, which is used to create the audio slide shows seen here and everywhere else. I don't know if its healthy, but when you are learning something new it can get quite exciting, hence another slide show in this post.

Anyway, yesterday I went for a long walk along the canals of east London today and they are both beautiful and ugly at the same time. There's old industrial estates, new developments - especially the Olympic sites - people fishing, sleeping, jogging, the closeness to nature which is rare in London, graffiti, rubbish, animals, you name it, its all there and I love it.

I've condensed my four hour walk (plus a few more hours editing...) into about 3.5 minutes for your viewing pleasure. You will get to see all of the above mentioned plus of course Mr Spider. Take a look here.
